Thermofabric™ Support Tights with Fly
Our flagship legwear style and still a big favorite! This style of opaque tights for guys is designed to deliver climate control with good compression. Plus it won't be too hot indoors. Can be worn with shorts in cool weather. Great for sports (especially biking and running) because it will provide warmth at the beginning of your workout without getting too warm later on. If you want warmth and comfort indoors and out, this is your style.

Like the fact they are fairly warm and comfortable under jeans for outdoors in the winter. The fly is great.

Starting out? Start here!

So, after having an idea of the benefits of compression legwear, the awful feelings of cramps, throbbing veins, and all around restless legs, yet not confident enough to wear in public (I think we all know why), I decided to try this out. I bought Activskin A849 in black XL and told myself, "OK self, try one pair, wear them to work on a day when you're least likely to have to see anyone, you normally wear black trousers anyway so it's not likely someone will notice, you can always wear socks with this so no one notices, and if they aren't that good, you can always return them."
Needless to say, I put them on, wore them for the day, and come evening, I didn't want to take them off! It was probably the most comfortable thing I have ever worn. Obviously the feel of the fabric was terrific, the size was just right so I was comfortable even with "#2", and the front convenience really worked well. Needless to say, after that experience, I knew I was going to be stocking up (pun intended), and thanks to the generous gift enclosed with my purchase, I was able to buy more. In addition, once I felt either a leg cramp, a vein throb, or even my foot falling asleep, when I wore the A849, there was nothing to worry about, because the discomfort was gone instantly. Without the legwear, it would have persisted for a while.
This was the first time that I have worn light support legwear, so the persistent compression took some time to get used to. In addition, the way the fabric works, it felt like there was nothing at the knee when sitting down, although in nervousness to check, it was OK, just stretched as one would expect. The connection between the stocking and the panty is not as strong as I'd like, although I partially blame myself due to the way I was sitting at the time. It's still intact even after that, but by a few threads. Lesson learned: don't straddle a bar stool.
In conclusion, if you need to start with compression legwear and do not wish to wear a traditional stocking, this is probably your best way to ease into comfort and confidence. Many thanks to G. Lieberman & Sons for providing a product that I am happy to wear. -
